Interior Styling
As an interior stylist, my approach is grounded in a deep sensitivity to spatial atmosphere, material harmony, and the emotional resonance of design. I work closely with architects, artisans, and clients to shape environments that are not only beautiful but intuitively lived. My practice draws on decades of experience in visual storytelling—across costume, set, and brand design—bringing an editorial eye and curatorial instinct to every space.
At Lillelund, I collaborated with architect Madeleine Blanchfield to create a home that honours both lineage and place. While working closely on surface finishes, I took the lead on selecting the furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, carpets, rugs, and decorative pieces — shaping an interior defined by texture, tone, and a quiet sense of refinement.
My role was to articulate a deeply personal visual language that resonated with heritage, craft, and sensibility. Below is Madeleine’s beautifully written account of the project, which captures the spirit of our collaboration.
